T hrough four generations the James Funeral Home has been serving the Newton Falls area since 1922 with dignity and compassion. We are an independently owned and family operated fourth generation funeral home. After an electrical fire that destroyed the old landmark on November 24, 2000, we have built an elegant new funeral home with many new features. The new funeral home is a state of the art handicap accessible facility with a kid's play room, two viewing areas, a chapel, state of the art BOSE sound system, and a fellowship hall downstairs that seats 80 people available for lunches and dinners at no charge. We are a full service funeral home providing traditional, cremation, and memorial services, as well as selling monuments and markers. Family is an important part of our life. When a death occurs, most feel comfortable being surrounded by family and friends. Our mission is to make your experience with us as comfortable as we can. We want you to feel like you're a part of our family, and we try to provide as best as possible, a home like atmosphere. We want to lessen the stress and burdens as much as possible, by letting the family plan and individualize the funeral they want for their loved ones.
