Albert "Abby" McVey Knoll, 67 of Ravenna entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at his residence. Albert was born on November 17, 1947 in Kittanning, PA, the son of Joseph McVey & Grace Marie (McMillen) Knoll. He has resided in Ravenna since 1987 formerly of Chicora, PA. Abby was a self employed contractor for over 30 years. He was a member of the American Legion 331 and enjoyed woodworking. Loving memories of Abby will be carried on by his companion and significant other, Carolyn Dale with whom he lived, his daughters, Lisa (Brad Karenbauer) Schnur of Chicora, PA, Terri Knoll of Windham, Deana Corpe of Ravenna, sons, Joseph (Xiu) Knoll of Toney, AL, Jeffrey (Jennifer Ferris) Knoll of Chicora, PA, Brent (Dawn Marie Pepperd) Knoll of Ravenna, sisters, Karen Knoll of Charlestown, Janet (Bob) Proudfoot of Streetsboro, Glenna (John) Williams of Chicora, PA, Gladys Jones of Chicora, PA, Rosa McCloskey of Butler, PA, brothers, Howard Knoll of Lower Burrell. PA, Jon (Patti) Knoll of Chicora, PA, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Abby is also survived by his loyal, canine companion, Jax. Abby was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, his sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law. Per Abby's wishes, there are no calling hours or funeral services. Cremation has taken place.
