Alberta Marie Hinkle, age 96 of Newton Falls passed into eternal life on April 22, 2014.

On December 24, 1917, in Fairfield, Illinois, William Frank & Eliza (Robbins) Chapman were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Alberta.

Alberta married the love of her live, Harold C. Hinkle and enjoyed 47 years of marriage together before he passed away on November 1, 1986.

She was a cashier for the A & P store in Newton Falls and enjoyed being a homemaker.

Alberta was a member of the Newton Falls United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading biographies and wintering in Pinellas Park, FL.

Loving memories of Alberta will be carried on by her family; her daughters-in-law Janetta Hinkle of Newton, NC, Joan Hinkle of Gainesville, FL; her grandson Richard & wife Tina Hinkle of Oviedo, great grandson Nathan Hinkle of Oviedo, FL; her granddaughter Lisa Hinkle of Gainesville, FL, and great granddaughter Alia Rhoades of Gainesville, FL.

She is preceded in death by two sons Dick & Ray Hinkle, and one great grandson Christian Rhoades.

Calling hours will be held at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 1:00PM at the funeral home with Rev. Gordon Ferguson officiating. Cremation will follow.

Alberta was a breast cancer survivor and the family asks that in lieu of
