Alfred Stanley Magargle age 96 of Paris Twp passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday Jan 11, 2025 at the Country Club Rehabilitation Campus Nursing Home in Newton Falls. He was born on December 14, 1928 in White Hall, PA, the son of Albert Lester Magargle & Dolly Phoebe (Weeks) Magargle. Alfred married the love of his life, Marian Louise Sibbrell on December 31, 1954 and they enjoyed 60 years of marriage together until she passed away on January 22, 2015.  Alfred was a veteran of the US Army serving during the European Command. After the service, Alfred was employed as a truck driver for Jones Motor Company for 30 years. He also drove school bus and was a custodian for Newton Falls Schools for 11 years retiring in 1991. Alfred was a life member of the V.F.W. Post #3332. Alfred helped to start the girl's Tomboys Baseball League. He coached boys Little League and enjoyed woodworking.

He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara (Thomas Glenn) Brown of Newton Falls, Amy (Ron) Hartman of Garrettsville, Judy Magargle of Austintown, OH, Sara (Theodore) Tomko of New Boston, OH, sons, Gary (Thelma) Humberger of Newton Falls, Jeffrey (Julia) Magargle of McKinney, TX, Dennis (Susan) Magargle of Maryville, TN, sister in law, Betty Magargle of Muncy, PA, brother, Larry Magargle of Muncy, PA, sister-in-law, Lois Magargle of Freemont, OH, 1 daughter in law: Cindy Magargle, 30 grandchildren  26 great -grandchildren, and 1 great- great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Marian, 1 son: Tim Magargle, 2 sisters: Mary Mahaffey, Violet Wright, 3 brothers, Howard, Clarence, Wayne Magargle, and 1 granddaughter: Rebecca Humberger-Honeycutt.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.  Alfred will be laid to rest next to his wife Marian at Hawley Cemetery in Paris Twp, OH.
