Obituary

Alvin (Buster) T. Shade, 76, of Niles, passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday January 21, 2015 at St. Joseph Eastland Hospital in Warren. He was born on Jan. 6, 1939 in Milton Twp., the son of the late Theodore Roosevelt and Dorothy Viola (Porter) Shade. Alvin has lived in Niles since 2007, formerly of Warren. Alvin grew up and spent most of his life in the Lake Milton area. Alvin married the former Dayle L. Wade on June 19, 1987. They were blessed with 27 wonderful years of marriage. Alvin was a crane operator with US Steel and after retirement, he was a mechanic with Builder's Transport. Alvin enjoyed buying and selling trucks and homes. He also enjoyed traveling. Loving memories of Alvin will be carried on by his wife, Dayle Shade of Niles, step-sons, Charles Dickerhoof of Ravenna, Willard Dickerhoof Jr. of Raleigh, NC, his sister, Dorothy Stout of Austintown and his neices and nephews. Alvin was preceded in death by his stepson, Gary Dickerhoof and sisters, Shirley J. Keeler and Carolyn Ables. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 1:00 pm at James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. Alvin will be laid to rest at Palmyra West Cemetery in Diamond, OH.
