Ann J. Bednarcik, age 77 of Youngstown, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2010 at 7:45PM at the Omni West Assisted Living Residence of natural causes. Ann was born on July 8, 1933 in Newton Falls, OH the daughter of the late Matthew & Mary (Buynacek) Bednarcik. She lived in Warren, Ohio since 1959, formerly of Newton Falls, Ohio, where she graduated from Newton Falls High School in 1951. In her younger years she was an accomplished accordion player. Ann worked as a assembler at Packard Electric in Warren, Ohio for 30 years before retiring in 1989. She previously worked for the Ohio State Patrol. Her interests included softball, Blue Grass music, and family events. She attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Newton Falls, and St. Mary's in Warren. She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers Andrew, John (Piney), Joseph Bednarcik; and one sister-in-law, Matilda Bednarcik. Memories of Ann will be carried on by her loving family; her One Sister-In-Law, Margaret Bednarcik;Three Nephews, Greg & Grace Bednarcik, Joseph A. & (Carole) Bednarcik & Vincent Bednarcik. Funeral Services will be held at the James Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 11:00AM. Friends may call the funeral home one hour prior to service time from 10:00AM -11:00AM. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Newton Falls. The family asks that all donations go to Hospice of the Valley 5190 Market Street Youngstown, Ohio 44512.
