Annette E. Carpenter age 66 of Milton Twp passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday April 15, 2026 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown. She was born on Feb. 6, 1960 in Elkins, WV the daughter of the late Wilford James Simmons and Frances Lee (Gibson) Simmons. Annette lived in Milton Twp for the last 26 years, formerly of Newton Falls where she graduated from Newton Falls High School in the Class of 1978. She married the love of her life Harold Ray Carpenter on Oct 7, 2000 and he tragically passed away on July 25, 2008 after only 7 years of marriage together. Annette worked as a Dispatcher for Durango Express Trucking Company for 12 years retiring in 2012. She was a member of the Pricetown Methodist Church, and she served as a committee member for the Zip City Riderz non profit organization. Annette loved fishing, cooking, traveling all over the world, gambling, canning, gardening and doing puzzles. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband: Harold.

Annette is survived by: 4 sisters: Evelyn Gear of Diamond, OH, Charlotte Simmons of Newton Falls, Charlene Simmons and her companion Bruce Bruner of Newton Falls, Dolores & Donnie Peterson of Newton Falls, 1 brother: Rodney Simmons of Newton Falls, 4 nieces and 5 nephews.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be no services. The family has requested that all donations please be made to the Zip City Riderz non profit organization 3526 Hallock -Young Rd. Newton Falls, OH 44444 in her memory.
