Anthony Robert (Tony D) Dorantich age 47 of Lincolnton, GA passed away peacefully on Sunday May 5, 2013 at the Doctors Hospital in Augusta, GA after a very long illness. Anthony was born in Marion, Indiana on June 30, 1965 the son of Paul R. Dorantich and Ruth A. (Grayson) Barrs. He grew up in Newton Falls graduating in 1983. He started as a Production Manager with Blue Ridge Paper products in Cleveland for 5 years and several other companies as his health would permit. He moved to Lincolnton, GA with his mother for the past four years. Tony D loved to fish, baseball, watching sports on TV. He was a prolific writer. He is survived by his mother: Ruth A. Barrs of Lincolnton, GA, his father and step mother Paul & Joanna Dorantich of Salem, OH. Brother Jonathan Dorantich of Tall Timbers, MD, His Twin Brother and Sister-in-law Timothy & Justine Dorantich of Newton Falls, OH. He was preceded in death by his step father Warren Barrs, two brothers Joey and Bobby Dorantich. Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 11:00AM with Rev. Arnold Edmondson officiating at the Lutheran Cemetery in Newton Falls.
