Audrey M. Simmons age 67 of Warren Twp. passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Monday April 20, 2026 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born on April 7, 1959 in Warren, OH the daughter of Kenneth Marlin Schick Sr. and Symanthia Shirley (Mann) Schick. Audrey lived her entire life in Warren and graduated from LaBrae High School in the Class of 1977. She married the love of her life, Bobbie Lee Simmons on Sept. 10, 1977 and they enjoyed 48 years of wonderful marriage together. Audrey worked as a Housekeeper at Washington Square Nursing Home for 10 years, and Venture Plastics in Newton Falls for 5 years as a Mold Cleaner. She also worked at Head Start in Warren as a Teacher's Assistant and Bus Aid for 6 years. Audrey enjoyed being the Treasurer on the Warren Township Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. Her most treasured time was spent being with her grandchildren. She also loved cooking, playing cards with her mother & brother, driving on car adventures around Ohio. Audrey is preceded in death by her father: Kenneth Schick Sr. and 1 son: Jason Simmons.

Simmons of Warren Twp, her mother: Shirley Schick of Warren, 1 daughter: LaRue Simmons (Aubrey Beadle) of Niles, 2 sons: Matthew Simmons (Daisy Fisher) of Niles, Kevin & Jessica Simmons of Howland, OH, 1 sister: Patty (Wayne) Cipra of Newton Falls, 1 brother: Kenneth Jr. (Margaret) Schick of Leavittsburg, 10 grandchildren: Caleb, Abbey, Gabe, Lilly, Corbin, Mariah, Finely, Autumn, Oaklyn, JJ, 6 step grandchildren: Johnny, Madison, Matthew, Trace, Violet, Bailey, and 1 great grandson: Waylon.

Funeral services will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Thursday April 30, 2026 at 1:00pm with Pastor Mike Nail officiating. Calling hours will be from 11:00am - 1:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Lordstown Cemetery in Lordstown, OH.
