Barbara G. Burnside, age 58 of Lake Milton entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. On May 1, 1952, Dana B. & Helen L. (Hunt) Ramsey were blessed with the birth of their daughter in Sutton, WV. Barbara has lived in Lake Milton for 35 years, formerly of Clay County, WV. Barbara enjoyed crafts, sewing quilts, planting flowers and landscaping around her home, cooking and traveling. Her favorite travel destination was Myrtle Beach, SC. Memories of Barbara will be carried on by her daughter and son-in-law Jennifer & Jeff Friend, her daughter, Jody Saunders, her son, Lowell Burnside all of Lake Milton, sister, Myrtle Utley of Alliance, her brothers and their wives, Ralph & Opal Ramsey of Dille, WV, Dana & Sue Ramsey of Gasaway, WV, grandchildren, Cody, Preston & Mikaela Friend, Breanna, Dana & Charlie Saunders, Jacob, Joseph, Hanna & Emma Burnside. Barbara was preceeded in death by her husband Lowell who passed away on July 20, 1996. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2011 from 6:00 -8:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Barbara will be laid to rest next to her husband in Palmyra Cemetery.
