Barbara Lee Lipp, age 89 of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at her home. Barbara was born on January 4, 1926 in Leavittsburg, the daughter of the late, Ross & Minnie (Wintersteen) Evans. She has lived in Newton Falls for the past three years, formerly of Kent. Barbara married Donald Lipp on November 22, 1972. Barbara and Donald were blessed with 19 years of marriage before his passing in 1991. She was employed as a bar maid for the Amvets in Struthers for 30 years retiring in 1990. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Club and Rebecca Circle at Trinity Lutheran Church in Kent. She enjoyed reading books, crossword puzzles and word searches. Loving memories of Barbara will be carried on by her daughters, Donnah Jakubowski of Grand Rapids, MI, Peggy Ludwig of Newton Falls, son, Kenneth Jones of Austintown, brother, Kenneth (Hannah) Evans of Warren, 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Barbara was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald, daughter, Linda Borko, sister, Virginia Riggle, brothers, Vernon, Ralph, Raymond and Lyle Evans and 3 grandsons, Troy Toylan, Kevin Stage and Dennis J. Choleva Jr. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm at James Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Barbara will be laid to rest at Newton Falls Cemetery.
