Bertha Lee Sarra, age 74 of Champion passed into eternal life on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 2:08PM at Trumbull Memorial Hospital of natural causes. She was born on September 4, 1936 in Harrisburg,PA the daughter of the late Homer & Cloe (Muchle) Dezaiffe. Bertha married the love of her life, George Sarra, on July 3, 1954 and they enjoyed 52 blessed years of marriage together before he passed away on September 11, 2006. Bertha had lived in Newton Falls all of her life and was an avid Ohio State Fan. Memories of Bertha will be carried on by her loving family; her daughter & her husband Melanie & Denzil Snyder of North Bloomfield, OH; her son & his wife George & Debbie Sarra of Easley, SC; her sons Gregory Sarra & Allen Sarra both of Pelzer,SC; her sister and her husband Cindi & Ken Helman of Climer, IN, her sister Lindi Whetstone of IN; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Calling hours will be held at the Robinson-Lytle Funeral Home in Indiana,PA on Friday, April 1, 2011 from 1:00 to 2:00PM. There will be a gravside service following at the Greenwood Cemetery in Indiana,PA, where Bertha will be laid to rest next to her husband, George.
