Betsy Ann Sutley, 66 of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at the Cleveland Clinic. Betsy was born on April 19, 1948 in Erie, PA, the daughter of William August & Irene (Bosch) Strohmeyer. She has lived in Newton Falls since 1969, formerly of McKean, PA where she graduated from General McLane High School and then attended Edinboro University in PA. Betsy married Lee R. Sutley on July 12, 1969. They have been blessed with 44 years of marriage. Betsy had been employed by War-Trum Credit Union, Sea World and recently was a substitute secretary for the Newton Falls schools. Betsy was a member of St. Mary's & Joseph Church. She taught CCD classes for St. Joseph Church for many years. Betsy enjoyed going to the casino, where her favorite place to attend was The Meadows Loving memories of Betsy will be carried on by her husband, Lee Sutley of Newton Falls, daughters, Kimberly (Bruce) Stevens of Perrysburg, OH, Dawn (Patrick) Nutter of Newton Falls, Cassandra Sutley of Bloomington, IN, son, William Sutley of Newton Falls, sisters, Judith (Robert) Rinehammer of Severn, MD, Mary (David) Halko of Erie, PA, brother, William (Marsha) Strohmeyer of Waterford, PA and her 4 grandchildren which she adored, Jackson & Matthew Stevens and Elizabeth & Emily Nutter. Calling hours will be held on Thursday July 10, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Memorial prayer will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at the funeral home and a memorial mass will then follow at 10:30 am at St. Mary & Joseph Church.The family requests that contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, Northeast Region, 525 North Broad Street, Canfield, OH 44406.
