Betty Lucille Caroppoli, age 82 of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Betty was born on September 15, 1930 in Warren, the daughter of the late Ashley and Mary (Jewell) Haines. Betty has lived in Newton Falls her entire life. On July 22, 1950, Betty married Donald Caroppoli. They have been blessed with 62 years of marriage. Betty was a very active member of Newton Falls Church of God where she belonged to the Golden Agers, libriarian at the church and headed the audio visual department. Betty also participated on the church newsletter. She enjoyed quilting and crafts. Loving memories of Betty will be carried on by her husband, Donald Caroppoli of Newton Falls, daughter & son-in-law, Diana & David Rutan of Brecksville, and two grandchildren. Betty was preceeded in death by her sister, Violet Haines and two brothers, Donnie & Raymond Haines. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the First Church of God in Newton Falls. Funeral services will be held at the church on Thursday at 11:00 am.
