Betty L. (Kinnan) Hoffman, 81 of Leavittsburg entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Laurie Ann Nursing Home. Betty was born on October 4, 1933 in Warren, the daughter of the late William & Donna (Cook) Kinnan. Betty was a life long resident of Leavittsburg living her entire life on the same street. Betty graduated in 1953 from Leavittsburg High School. Betty married Charles B. Hoffman on August 23, 1954. Betty and Charles were blessed with 61 years of marriage. She was employed for 20 years at Trumbull Lamp GE retiring in 1981. Betty loved her family more than life itself. She was a life long sports fanatic whether she was coaching or watching her kids games, then watching her grand kids games through the years growing up. Loving memories of Betty will be carried on by her husband, Charles of Leavittsburg, her son, Charles "Chuckie" (Jo Marie) Hoffman of Leavittsburg, her daughter, Christine (Greg) Gibson of Newton Falls, her son, Mark (Debbie) Hoffman of Leavittsburg, her sister, Viola Bailey of Newton Falls and her grandchildren, Angela (Eric) Kotouch of Austintown, Curtis Hoffman of Leavittsburg, Tiffany Hoffman of Leavittsburg, Nicholas and Kaitlin Gibson of Newton Falls. Betty was preceeded in death by her parents, and a son, Bruce A. Hoffman. Private family services were held and cremation has taken place. Betty will be laid to rest at Newton Falls Cemetery.
