Bill Joe Rodman Jr., age 58 of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 13, 2015 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Bill was born on May 31, 1957, the son of the late Bill Sr. & Marian (Thursby) Rodman. Bill has lived in Newton Falls for the past 13 years, but home to him was Willard, MO. Bill and Wilma Laurette Bell were married in the Salt Lake Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah on March 11, 1980. They had 35 years of wonderful marriage. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a veteran of the US Army. Bill has been employed as a plant manager for 13 years with Great Lakes Cheese. Bill was an avid motorcycle rider, loved traveling to K.C. Chiefs games with his sons & watching any football game on TV. He also enjoyed fishing, and shooting guns. He got the most enjoyment out of being with his family and friends. Loving memories of Bill will be carried on by his wife, Wilma Rodman of Newton Falls, his sons, Josh (Alycia) Rodman of Appleton, WI, Jared (Ann) Rodman of Colorado Springs, CO, Jake (Nicole) Rodman of Kent, Jason Rodman and Brittany Fusillo of Akron, sisters, Diane Kerns of Wilson, NC, Connie Harrison of Springfield, MO, brothers, Dale (Leann) Rodman of Willard, MO, Brett (Shannon) Rodman of Springfield, MO and 7 grandchildren. Bill was preceeded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 3:00 - 6:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Visitation will then be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 320 W. Jackson St., Willard, MO 65781. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am at the church. Bill will be laid to rest at Wesley Cemetery in Willard, MO.
