Bonnie L. Monroe O'Shields "NANA" got her wings and took flight into heaven suddenly on May 29, 2011 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. On April 3, 1948, in Charleston, WV, Tom & Sarah Pauline (Click) Monroe were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Bonnie. Bonnie had lived in Freedom Township most of her life, working as a material handler for Energizer in Garrettsville. She enjoyed making crafts, shopping, and spending time with her family. Bonnie was always willing to lend a helping hand and was known for putting others needs before her own. Memories of Bonnie will be carried on by her loving family; her daughter and husband Theresa & Claude Perreault of Freedom Twp., her brother and his wife Charles & Joanie Monroe of Southington; her brothers Franklin Monroe Hopemills, NC, William Monroe Lawrence, TN; her sisters Gracie Monroe of Freedom, OH, Tammie Monroe Leavittsburg; her sisters and their husbands Darla & Charles Henley of Freedom, OH, Hazel & Brad Davis of Newton Falls; her sister-in-law Gail Monroe of Newton Falls; her granddaughter and her husband Crystal & Joshua Lee; her 3 great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Joshua and Jayden all of Freedom. Bonnie will be sadly missed by the ones she left behind. Bonnie is preceeded in death by her parents, Tom & S. Pauline "Click" Monroe, her brother James Monroe, her nieces Sheila Monroe, April Monroe, and many Aunts, Uncles and other relatives. Private services will be held at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. Bonnie will be laid to rest at the Freedom Township Cemetery beside her parents.
