Bryan R. Hurst, 56 of Newton Falls passed away Monday, July 3, 2023 at 7:04PM at University Hospitals Main Campus. Born in Warren on January 9, 1967; Bryan was the son of Gene and Shirley (Shafer) Dittman.

A lifetime area resident, Bryan worked as a welder for over 15 years for All Steel in Weathersfield. He was of Christian faith and attended the First Church of God in Newton Falls when he was younger. Bryan was known for his willingness to help anyone with issues with their cars and usually could be found underneath one, trouble-shooting the cause and making the necessary repairs.

Bryan is survived by his parents, Gene and Shirley with whom he made his home with; a son, Aaron (Dri) Hurst of Niles, daughters; Samantha (Tyler Ranson) of St. Augustine, Florida and Toni (Bobby Brewer) Napolitano of Newton falls; a sister, Wendy (Larry) Petrilla of Ravenna; a brother, Darrin (Tracy) Hurst of Newton Falls and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Bryan Andrew Hurst and a sister, Gidget Hurst.

A Celebration of Life will be on Friday, July 14, 2023 at 4:30PM  at the First Church of God with Rev. Jennifer Dorn officiating. Cremation has taken place and Bryan will be laid to rest with his sister, Gidget in Newton Falls Cemetery.
