Carmen Vincent DeStefano Jr., 67 of Newton Falls, formerly of Warren, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at UH Portage Medical Center. He was born in Hampton, Virginia on November 26, 1958; the son of the late Carmen V. and Vivian A. (Manderson) DeStefano.

A lifetime area resident, he was of Episcopal faith and was a retired custodian. Carmen served our country in the United States Army. He married his wife; the former Marian Diane Procopio on January 27, 2006. Together they shared 20 years of marriage.

Carmen is survived by his wife, Marian and two stepchildren; Robert "Bobby" Procopio of Newton Falls and Julie (Jeffrey) Schreckengost of Bristolville. Also surviving him is one sister, Toni DeStefano of Hampton, Virginia.

Per Carmen's wishes cremation will take place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
