Carol Lee Cook, age 69 of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Vista Care Center in Mineral Ridge. Carol was born on August 9, 1947 the daughter of the late John & Lilly (Fertig) Andriko. She has lived in Newton Falls her entire life. Carol married Robert E. Cook on September 9, 1970. Carol and Robert were blessed with 34 years of marriage before his passing on September 18, 2004. Carol enjoyed crossword puzzles, adult coloring books and her cats. Loving memories of Carol will be carried on by her daughter, Stacy (Frank) Collins of Lake Milton, her son Robert D. Cook of Newton Falls, sister Betty Schilling of Newton Falls, and two grandsons Matthew Collins and Timothy Cook. Carol was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her daughter Cassie Cook, son James Huffman, brother Harry "Duke" Schilling and a grandson Nicholas Cook. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday July 19, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Carol will be laid to rest next to her husband Robert at Newton Falls Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Vista Care Center and her wonderful caregivers from Crossroads Hospice.
