Carol Ann Culp, age 79, of Newton Falls, passed away into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren of natural causes.

On July 17, 1945, in East Liverpool, Ohio, Carl S. & Catherine (Boyle) Sherwood were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Carol.

Carol married the love of her life, Jack Culp on February 19, 1966 and they enjoyed 59 years of marriage together.

She had lived in Newton Falls for over 40 years and was a devoted wife, mother and Nanna.  Carol enjoyed reading, listening to 50's music, gardening and her flowers.

Memories of Carol will be carried on by her loving family; her husband Jack of Newton Falls; her 2 daughters Tammy & (Bill) Sharpe of Lancaster, Lori & (Steve) Krider of Pataskala, 2 brothers William & (Birdie) Sherwood of Salem, John & (Bonnie) Sherwood of Hammondsville; and 2 grandchildren Noah & Meadow Sharpe.

She is preceeded in death by her parents.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 4:00 to 5:00PM  at James Funeral Home in Newton Falls.  Funeral Services will immediately follow at 5:00PM at the funeral home.  Cremation will follow.
