Charles Lewis Biggard, age 74 of Newton Falls entered peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Youngstown. Charles was born in Warren on November 25, 1937, the son of Christopher Lewis and Mary (Evans) Biggard. He has lived in Newton Falls his entire life. Charles married to the former Lois Marie Chilson on September 30, 1960. Charles and Lois were married 50 years until her passing on July 11, 2010. Charles was a farmer and earlier in life was employed by Nemenz Grocery Store. He was a member of the Berlin Center Methodist Church and a member of The Farm Bureau. Loving memories of Charles, known as Grandpa by many, will be carried on by his daughter and son-in-law, Diann & Robert Pyles of Newton Falls, his son, Carl Biggard of Coitsville and a granddaughter, Jennifer Crast. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Lois, grandsons, Ryan Pyles and Christopher Biggard and his sister, Barbara McCarthy. Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at James Funeral Home in Newton Falls where funeral services will immediately follow at 7:00 pm. Cremation will follow.
