Charles Wayne Davidson, age 76 of Berlin Center passed away peacefully of heart failure on Thursday July 9, 2015 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born on May 28, 1939 in Saltville, VA, the son of the late Millard & Cora Lee (Gillespie) Davidson. Wayne married the love of his life, Carol Ann Hutton on February 10, 1961 and they enjoyed 54 years of marriage together. Wayne & Carol have lived in Berlin Center since 2000, formerly of Charlestown, OH. He worked as a construction superintendent for Knoch Construction for over 20 years retiring in 1999. Wayne was a member of the First Church of God in Newton Falls for many years. He enjoyed bowling, building everything, cutting trees, riding his Honda Goldwing Trike, and helping others. He is survived by his loving wife: Carol Ann Davidson of Berlin Center, OH 3 daughters: Peggie & Doug Parrish of Lakeland, FL, Debbie & John St. Clair of Streetsboro,OH, Susan & Mark Walkusky of Saline, MI; his 2 sons Robert & Michelle Davidson of Hermitage, PA, Michael & Tina Davidson of Braceville,OH; 4 sisters: Zola Evans of Saltville, VA, India Eads of Ravenna, OH, Shirley Seckinger of Tallmadge, OH, and Judy Williams of Rootstown, OH; 1 brother Dewey Davidson of Tallmadge,OH. He was the proud grandpa to 9 grandchildren: John, Josh, Jerod, Justin, Addison, Ben, Ashley, Braden, Riley. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister: June Davidson, and 1 brother: Eugene Davidson. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2015 from 3:00 - 6:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday at The First Church of God at 11:00 am. Wayne will be laid to rest at Charlestown Twp. Cemetery in Ravenna, OH.
