Charles G. Fulks (W80EY), age 77 of Braceville passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday March 31, 2012 of natural causes. He was born on June 15, 1934 in Warren, Ohio, the son of the late Rev.Charles Milton & Margaret (Richardson) Fulks. Charles was married to Elizabeth Ann Kassan on April 8, 1961 and she passed away on October 17, 1994 and then he married Ruth J. Stroup on September 21, 1996 and she survives him. Charles (formerly of Southington) had lived in Braceville for the past 15 years. He had worked as a Induction heating metal technologist for Taylor-Winfield in Warren from 1964 until he retired in 1999. He served his country faithfully with the US Navy serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the Braceville United Methodist Church, the IOOF and the Southington American Legion Post where he served as Commander. His hobbies were mowing grass and spending time with his family. He especially enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, whom he loved very much. Charles had a real passion for Ham radios and his call letters were W80EY. Memories of Charles will be carried on by his loving family; his wife Ruth Fulks of Braceville; his daughter & son-in-law Mary & Robert Erikson of Hinkley; his son & daughter-in-law Charles & Kimberly Fulks of Southington; his step-daughter & son-in-law Ashley & Dan Wickliff of Winn Fork, AR; his step-son Raymond Graber of San Francisco,CA; his step-son & daughter-in-law Scott & Betsy Graber of Phoenix, AZ; his sisters & brother-in-laws Diane & Eugene Emery of Cortland, Linda & Gary Fincham of Beckley,WV, Sally Fulks of Indianapolis, IN; six grandchildren, whom he especially loved, Elizabeth, Christina & Melissa Erikson, Cameron Fulks, Evan & Avery Graber. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother Jack Fulks, and his first wife Elizabeth Ann Fulks. All donations please be made to the Braceville United Methodist Church 589 Park Road Newton Falls, Ohio 44444. Cremation has taken place and private services will be held.
