Charles Ray Knowlton, age 59, of Newton Falls passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, July 21, 2018. He was born on May 15, 1959 in Warren, OH the son of Charles Edward Knowlton and Carol J. (Fenton) Knowlton. He married the love of his life Tracy Barr on Nov. 4, 1989 and they enjoyed 15 years of marriage together until she passed away on April 25, 2014. Charles lived in Newton Falls his entire life and was employed at BRT Extrusions in Niles for many years. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and served for 4 years. Charles loved music, playing his guitar, working with wood, and was known for making beautiful wooden wishing wells. He also loved going to anything that involved his daughter Caitlyn.

Charles is survived by: 1 daughter: Caitlyn Knowlton of Newton Falls, 1 sister: Tammy & Brett VanArsdale of Broken Arrow, OK, 2 brothers: David & Sherry Knowlton of Warren and Daniel & Joy Knowlton of Warren.

Funeral services will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Thursday July 26, 2018 at 11:00am with Rev. Arnold Edmondson officiating. Calling hours will be at the funeral home one hour prior to service time from 10:00- 11:00am. Charles will be laid to rest with his wife Tracy at Newton Falls Cemetery.
