Christine Ann Ellsworth, age 54, of Newton Falls passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Jan. 15, 1964 in Warrensville Heights, OH, the daughter of Frank Lorence III and Martha Mary (Faulkner) Lorence. Christine married the love of her life, David W. Ellsworth on June 16, 1989 and they enjoyed 29 years of marriage together. They have lived in Newton Falls since 2002, formerly of Wayland, OH. She graduated from Southeast High School in 1982. Christine enjoyed cleaning houses for the people she loved. She also enjoyed gardening,and spending time with her dogs "Shark Boy", Emily", "Lucy", and "Pebbles. Christine was a singer in a band called "Country Crossroads" that once opened for George Strait at Ponderosa Park. She loved the simple things in life, like being a grandmother and spending time with the grandchildren. Her family was the most important thing to her. Christine had a strong Christian faith, a wonderful sense of humor and always had a positive outlook on life. She went out of her way to shine a light and brighten the lives of others. Her favorite time of year was Christmas and she went out of her way to make all holidays & birthdays a special event for everyone.

Ellsworth of Newton Falls, her parents: Frank & Martha Lorence of Diamond, OH, 5 daughters: Nicole Ellsworth of Kent, OH, Jacqueline & Jason Moran of Sierra Vista, AZ, Lauren & Stefen McElravy of Newton Falls, Taylor Ellsworth of Lordstown, OH, Kelly Ellsworth and her fiancé Richard Gautschi of Newton Falls, 2 sons: David & Brandy Ellsworth of Newton Falls, Patrick Ellsworth and his companion Amy Salvaggio of Stow, OH, 1 sister: Sherrie & Jim McKendrick of Diamond, OH, 1 brother: Brad Lorence and his companion Nikki Fedor of Diamond, OH, and 9 grandchildren: Sabrina, Clayton, Raeann, Riley, AJ, Shawn, Abigail, Milana, and Vernon.

Funeral services will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Wednesday June 13, 2018 at 1:00pm with Rev. Gary Rozier officiating. The family will receive friends for calling hours at the funeral home three hours prior to service time from 10:00am - 1:00pm. Christine will be laid to rest at Newton Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that all donations please be made to the University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center at UH Cleveland Medical Center 11100 Euclid Ave. Cleveland, OH 44106 in memory of Christine A. Ellsworth.
