CORTLAND Clara Ann Evans 83 formerly of Warren and Newton Falls passed away Saturday morning April26, 2014 at her daughters home in Cortland. This complete obituary can be seen or condolences sent online at WWW.jamesfuneralhomeinc.com Clara was born October 22 1930 in Pineville KY., the daughter of the late Fred and Vesta (Wilson) Howard. Clara Ann Howard married her loving husband Paul L. Evans on December 16, 1949 he passed away on February 22, 1990. Clara was a house wife and mother for most of her married life but in later years worked at Dairy Mart and Circle K. Before moving to her daughters home last year she had spent 24 years in Warren after her husband passed away. Clara and Paul spent all of their married life Newton Falls where she attended the First Church of God. She enjoyed knitting, sewing , reading but most of all spending time with her family. Clara will be greatly missed by her daughter and son in law Debra and John Susko of Cortland; her sister and brother in law Zelma and Don Sipka of Newton Falls; her brother Arthur Howard of Middlesboro KY;her brothers and sister in laws Frank and Rosemary , Fred and Helen Howard all of Newton Falls; Her grand daughter Morgan Shelton of Ravenna OH: her Great Granddaughter Sophia Shelton and great Grandson Henry Shelton. Clara was preceded in death by her two brothers Tom and Edward Howard. the family ask that contributions take the form of donations in her name to M.V.I. Hospice Care 4891 Belmont Ave Youngstown,Oh 44505.

The family will receive friends Tuesday at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls, Oh from 10;00AM to 11;00 AM where services will follow directly at 11:00AM. Clara will be laid to rest beside her husband Paul.
