IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Clarence "Pete"
Knodel
November 3, 1958 – January 9, 2017
Clarence A. "Pete" Knodel was born on November 3, 1958 to Bruce Thomas Knodel and Valerie Quinn (Langston) Knodel. On January 9, 2017, time stood still with the loss of Pete Knodel. An honestly amazing man who actually did live life to the fullest, from Rock n' Roll, motorcycles, fast cars to hunting, fishing, guns and MeTV nights with his wife. He married the love of his life, Sahar S. Awadallah on August 26, 1990 and they had 26 blessed years of marriage together. Pete started his career at the Braceville Police Department and then moved into the Trumbull County Sheriffs Department. He finally moved to ODNR where he retired on April 20, 2007. Pete was a member of the NRA, as was his father Bruce T. Knodel who preceded him in death. He was also a member of the FOP lodge #149, Ohio Labor Counsel Bargaining Unit, Riders of Kawasaki, Course Owners Group, and a founding member of The Band of Brotherz. Pete served over 27 years as a police officer and was active in the sportsman club. Memories of Pete will be carried on by his loving family; his mother Valerie Knodel of Newton Falls; his devoted wife of 26 years Sahar Knodel of Leavittsburg; his son Basam "Sam" Knodel and fiancé Katie Ronyak of Leavittsburg, his daughter and son-in-law Jeigh Michelle Maynard & Ross Maynard of Warren; 4 grandchildren: Alexandria Knodel, Aiden Knodel, Addison Knodel, and Magdalene Carroll. Words cannot say how amazing you are or how much you will be missed. You are my role model and my hero. Because of you we are better people and a better shot with bigger guns. Dad, hunt well with grandpa and Sassy. We will all see you on the other side. We will love you Always. Calling hours will be held at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00PM.
