Obituary

Clayton E. Reakes III age 69 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday Dec. 18, 2024 at University Hospital Portage Medical Center in Ravenna.  He was born on April 24, 1955 in Warren, OH the son of the late Clayton Eugene Reakes Jr. and Marjorie Pearl (Sponaugle) Reakes. Clayton has lived in Newton Falls since 1966, and graduated from Newton Falls High School in the Class of 1974.  He married the love of his life, Tracey Ann Eberling on July 29, 1989, and they have enjoyed the past 35 years of marriage together. Clayton worked as a self-employed Pattern Maker at Trumbull Pattern Works in Newton Falls for over 50 years retiring in 2022.  He enjoyed hiking, biking, camping, his dogs, riding dirt bikes, loved family get togethers, and his classic cars. Clayton is preceded in death by only his parents.

He is survived by:his wife: Tracey A. Reakes of Newton Falls, 1 daughter: Keri & David Curtin of Howland, 3 sons: Joshua & Catrina Reakes of Damascus, OH, Jeremy & Marlena Reakes of Howland, Clayton & Eliza Reakes IV of Columbus, OH, 1 brother: Joey & Jennifer Reakes of Barberton, OH, 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and 2 baby boys on the way.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be no services.  The family has requested that all donations please be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 in his memory.
