Clyde E. Lutz, age 90, of Paris Twp. passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday May 4, 2013 at Longmeadow Care Center in Ravenna. He was born on February 22, 1923 in Warren, OH the son of the late Daniel J. Lutz and Hazel M. (Kollars) Lutz. Clyde has lived in Paris Twp since 1940, formerly of Windham. While living in Paris Twp, he did do some farming and raising cows and crops. He married the love of his life , Virginia M. Ford on November 26, 1947 and they enjoyed 65 years of marriage together. He worked as a inspector at Rockwell International for 22 1/2 years until his retirement in 1975. Clyde had previously attended the Maplewood Christian Church in Ravenna for many years. Some of Clyde's passions were wood working, gardening, mowing his grass, and he was an avid outdoorsman. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 infant son Donald Gene Lutz, 3 sisters: Imogene Czoka, Geraldine Zelina, Hazel Ford, and 2 brothers: Daniel & Robert Lutz. Clyde will be dearly missed by his loving family: his wife: Virginia M. Lutz of Paris Twp, 2 daughters: Barbara & John Petroski of Paris Twp, Laura & James Tarter of Marlboro, OH, 3 sons: Melvin Lutz and his companion Nora Craig of Paris Twp, Gary Lutz of North Pole, AK, Donald Lutz of Anchorage, AK, 1 brother Thomas & Beverly Lutz of Paris Twp, and 7 grandchildren. Calling hours will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Tuesday May 7, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00pm. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Wednesday May 8, 2013 at 1:00pm with Martin Riley officiating. Clyde will be laid to rest at Hawley Cemetery in Paris Twp, OH.
