Craig Michael Champlin, age 43, formerly of Newton Falls passed away at his home in North Jackson, OH on Monday, August 1, 2016. He was born on March 12, 1973 in Warren, OH the son of Sherman E. Champlin and Linda L. (Slater) Champlin. Craig has lived in North Jackson for the last 2 years. He graduated from Newton Falls High School in 1991. Craig worked as a machinist at Glunt Industries in Warren. He loved fishing with his father, hunting, and especially loved his family & his 3 children. Craig is preceded in death by his mother Linda L. Champlin. Craig is survived by: his father: Sherman E. Champlin of Newton Falls, 1 sister: Denine Baker of Poland, OH, 3 daughters: Gwendilyn Champlin of Salem, OH, Aubrey Champlin of Newton Falls, Delainey Champlin of Newton Falls, 2 nephews: Christian & Jonathan Baker of Newton Falls, and his fiancé': Amy Harvey of North Jackson. Per the wishes of the family, cremation has taken place. There will be no calling hours or funeral services. Craig will be laid to rest next to his mother Linda at Newton Falls Cemetery.
