Curtis Lee Turner, age 67 of Braceville, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at his home. Curtis was born on July 23, 1950 in Warren the son of the late Curtis Joseph & Sue (Shavers) Turner. He has lived in Braceville most of his life. Curtis was a veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam where he earned 2 Bronze Service Stars. After the service, Curtis was employed at Copperweld Steel. After Copperweld closed, Curtis became the Patient Care Technician at Northside Hospital. Curtis married the former Betty Anthony on July 31, 1998. Curtis and Betty have been blessed with 19 wonderful years of marriage. He was a member of the Braceville First Baptist Church. Curtis enjoyed gardening, listening to music, sports and reaching out and helping people. Loving memories of Curtis will be carried on by his wife Betty Turner of Braceville, son Curtis G. Turner of Braceville, daughter Arlisha Turner of Warren, sister JoAnn (Jacket) Richardson of Warren, brother Jerome Turner of Warren and 2 grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the Braceville First Baptist Church, 1300 Cedar St.. SW, Newton Falls, OH 44444 where services will follow at 11:00 am. Curtis will be laid to rest at Braceville Cemetery.
