Dale W. Hoffman Sr., age 76 of Garrettsville entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital after a short illness. Dale was born on July 13, 1939 in Southington, the son of the late William & Florence (Doak) Hoffman. Dale was a self employed truck driver for the past 53 years. When he wasn't trucking, he enjoyed gardening, lawn work and attending auctions. Loving memories of Dale will be carried on by his daugher, Christie Turner & Paul Rainey of Hillsboro, his son, Dale W. Hoffman Jr. & Marla of Kent, grandchildren, Shawn Hoffman of Hubert, NC, Daniel Adamson & Tiffany Tate of Garrettsville, Brian Adamson of Hillsboro, Greg Adamson of Masontown, PA and great grandchildren, Analiese Marene Hoffman, Brenda Adamson and Daniel Ray Adamson III. Dale was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jim Hoffman. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at Nelson Community Building at Nelson Circle on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at 2:00PM.
