Daniel L. Kuntz age 79 of Warren passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Windsor House of Champion. He was born on Aug. 29, 1945 in Massillon, OH the son of the late Harold W. Kuntz and Suzanne Elizabeth (Claybaugh) Kuntz.  Daniel has lived in Warren for over 40 years, formerly of Newton Falls.  He graduated from Southeast High School in the Class of 1963. Daniel worked as a Painter/Carpenter for St. Joseph Eastland Hospital in Maintenance Dept. for over 20 years.  He also was a member of the Warren Revival Church in Leavittsburg. Daniel was a musician and enjoyed playing the organ and the piano. He also enjoyed reading, and watching sports especially any Ohio team.  Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter: Danielle Moses, 1 sister: Charlene Kennedy, 1 brother: Eugene Kuntz and a grandson: Dustin West.

He is survived by: 3 daughters: Lanette & Kenny Middleton of Newton Falls, Erikka & Marshall Sampson of Lordstown, OH, Tiffany & Michael West of Leavittsburg, and 7 grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at  11:00am with Rev, David Holbrook officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00AM to 11:00AM.  Daniel will be laid to rest with his parents at Windham Twp. Cemetery.  The family has requested that all donations please be made to Affinity Care of Ohio, 25 Main Street, Suite 6, Munroe Falls, Ohio 44262 in his memory.
