Danil Keith Blake, 60, of Newton Falls, Ohio, passed away peacefully into eternal life on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at St. Joseph Eastland Hospital in Warren. Born on November 17, 1964, in Flint, Michigan, he was the cherished son of Keith Leonard Blake and Rita Jean (Schultz) Blake.

Danil made Newton Falls his home for over 20 years. Known for his strong work ethic and kind spirit, he held various roles throughout his career, including cook and road construction. He was a proud and active member of the American Legion in Lake Milton, where he enjoyed connecting with fellow members.

Danil had a love for life's simple pleasures, including solving crossword puzzles, reading Reader's Digest, and playing poker with friends and family. His sharp wit, easygoing nature, and devotion to loved ones will be deeply missed.

Danil is survived by his loving family: Mother: Rita Blake of Genoa City, Wisconsin; Sisters: Renié (Brian) Bright of Grant, Alabama, and Theresa (Mike) Wilson of Crystal Lake, Illinois;Brothers: Joseph (Amy) Blake and Thomas Blake, both of Newton Falls, and Robert Blake of Somerset, Pennsylvania

Danil was preceded in death by his father, Keith Blake, and his brother, James Blake.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services are scheduled at this time. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, monetary donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org.
