Darlene Fincham, age 74 of Windham went to be with Jesus on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Robinson Hospice. Darlene was born on November 10, 1937 in Middle Fork, WV, the daughter of Albert & Idress (McCauley) Johnson. She has lived in Windham since 1953, formerly of Millcreek, WV. Darlene married Donald Lee Fincham on September 24, 1953. They recently celebrated 59 years of marriage. Darlene was a stay at home wife and mother. She was a member of the First Assembly Pentecostal Church in Braceville. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, sewing and most of all cooking for the children and grandchildren. Darlene served her community in prayer and was available to all anywhere and at anytime. Loving memories of Darlene will be carried on by her husband, Donald Fincham of Windham, daughters, Denise Fincham of Windham, Dianna Roberts of Garrettsville, sons, Dwayne Fincham of Warren, Danny (Lydia) Fincham of Atwater, Darrin (Tricia) Fincham of Windham, sister, Donnis (Eddie) Cottle of Valley Bend, WV, brothers, Doil (Iantha) Slaymon of Oklahoma City, OK, Darrel (Juanita) Johnson of Millcreek, WV, 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dwight Johnson. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the First Assembly of Penecostal Church in Braceville from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Funeral services will immediately follow at 12:30 pm.
