Darlene Lucille Lettie, age 70 formerly of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Friday August 18, 2017 at Community Skilled Health Care Center. Darlene was born on Sept. 19, 1946 in Warren the daughter of the late Harry Franklin and Lucille Della (Moser) Lettie. Darlene was a lifetime resident of Newton Falls and a faithful member of the Newton Falls First Church of God. She worked for Packard Electric as a assembler for 30 years retiring in the late 1990's. Darlene also was a member of the First Church of God Women's Group for many years. She loved to do puzzles, visiting lighthouses and traveling, especially going on Mission trips with her church. Loving memories of Darlene will be carried on by her sister, Charlene Crissman of Champion, her brother: Lloyd (Anne) Lettie of Southington, brother-in-law, Gerald Combs of Newton Falls, and several nieces, nephews and great nephews. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Gaye Combs. Calling hours will be held on Friday August 25, 2017 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at The First Church of God, 426 West Broad Street, Newton Falls, OH 44444. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 pm. Rev. Arnold Edmondson will officiate. Cremation will follow. Darlene will be laid to rest at Newton Falls Cemetery with her parents. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, all donations please be made to the Newton Falls First Church of God, Board of Missions in memory of Darlene Lettie.
