David William Bowser, age 84 of Newton Falls, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at Country Club Rehab of Newton Falls. He was born in Tarentum, Pennsylvania on May 20, 1942; the son of the late Alvie W. and Irene (Wise) Bowser.

David was an educator and taught at Newton Falls and then at La Brae Local Schools for 30 years, retiring in 1994. While there, he taught Industrial Arts and later became the Principal. David was a member of the Masonic Lodge #462 in Newton Falls, He was of Methodist faith and was an avid gun collector and enthusiast; having become the State Champion in Ohio Pistol. His other enjoyment was that of cars; he was known as a MOPAR guy.

Calling hours for David will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 from 4-6 pm at James Funeral Home, Newton Falls. A masonic service will be held at 5:45pm Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 10am at the James Funeral Home with an hour of calling hours prior to the start of the service. Pastor Jennifer Dorn will officiate. Burial will take place at Hawley Cemetery.
