David Darrell Lawrence, 73, passed away on December 14th, 2023 in Lake Placid, Florida surrounded by family. He was the widower of Jennifer Lawrence and they shared 39 years of marriage together.

Born and raised in Newton Falls, he was the middle child of Walter King and Marjorie (Fawcett) Lawrence. He was employed with the United States Postal Service for over 37 years before retiring. He enjoyed cars of all makes and models. He will be remembered for his kind heart, patient spirit and love of his grandchildren.

He is survived by his son, Gregory (Nalina) and daughter Joan (Timothy) and the four little lights of his life, his grandchildren; Gavin and Carson Lawrence and Edward and Alice Moore. He is also survived by his sister Miriam (Larry), brothers, Tim (Shirley), Bill (Joyce) and Paul (Jean) and a host of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife and his two younger sisters, Lou and Sharon.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 27th, 2024 at 11 am with calling hours one hour prior to the service at James Funeral Home. Pastor David Crosley will officiate. Following the service, interment will take place at Braceville Township Cemetery.
