David Miles Robertson age 74, of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday, June 7th 2026 at his daughter's residence. He was born on August 11th 1951 in Rumford, Maine the son of the late Edward Norris Robertson and Edith Louise (Kirk) Robertson. David grew up in Bethel Maine where he spent time camping and boating with his family and developed a love for the outdoors. He attended Gould Academy for grades K-11. He graduated from Telstar High School in Bethel Maine, class of 1970. David attended Ricks college in Rexburg, Idaho before spending most of his adult life in the Northeast Ohio area. He's lived in Newton Falls, Ohio with his daughters for the last six years. David was kind, easygoing and friendly. His quick wit and humor could brighten any day. Dave was thoughtful and creative. He wrote poetry and was an artist for a season in his life. He was a captivating storyteller. He was fluent in Portuguese and served a 2 year mission in Brazil. Dave loved music and he liked to sing. He played the banjo and the harmonica. With his calm demeanor and his genuine heart he had many friends and no enemies. David is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Dennis Robertson, and his longtime companion Virginia Mikina.
He is survived by his children, Timothy Robertson (Angel Shortridge) of Bradenton, FL, Emily Robertson of Newton Falls, OH, John Robertson of Las Vegas, NV, and Anne Robertson (Osman Giron) of Shalersville, OH, His brother Dr. Ned Robertson of Cleveland Heights, OH, his ex-wife: Gretchen Lendvay (William) of Tallmadge, OH, and 9 grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
