Delmas Lee Higgins, age 45 of Paris Twp. passed away peacefully into eternal life on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at his residence. Delmas was born on April 17, 1971 in Warren, the son of Delmas Wayne & Rose Mary (Zigler) Higgins. Delmas had lived in Paris Township all his life. He had worked in maintenance at Swagelok Company in Ravenna. He was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Newton Falls. Delmas enjoyed watching Nascar, the Dallas Cowboys and wrestling. Memories of Delmas will be carried on by his loving family; his parents, Delmas & Rose Higgins of Paris Twp., his sons, Lance & Brayden Higgins of Paris Twp., step-daughter, Anissa Carter and her son Aiden, step-daughter, Tiana Carter and her daughter, Adrianna, grandmother, Frances Zigler of Paris Twp; his sisters Linda (Alan) Zeide of Newton Falls, Cathy Higgins of Paris Twp.and his niece, Margaret Zeide. Delmas is preceeded in death by his grandfather, Harvey Zigler, and grandparents, Opal & Homer Higgins,1 niece and 2 nephews. Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 pm.
