Delorse (Dory) J. Stambolia age 62 of Warren passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday May 18, 2024.  She was born on April 5, 1962 in Youngstown, OH the daughter of William Ronald Gordon and Delorse June (Ochsenbine) Gordon.  She has lived in Warren for over 30 years formerly of Leavittsburg where she graduated from LaBrae High School in the Class of 1980.  Delorse married the love of her life, Stanley L. Stambolia  on June 27, 1980 and they have enjoyed 33 years of marriage together until his death on March 8, 2014.  She worked at Copperweld Steel in Champion as a supervisor for 12 years.  She then worked in the Accounting Department at TCAP (Trumbull Community Action Program) for over 20 years. Delorse enjoyed playing bingo, and especially being with her grandchildren. Delorse was preceded in death by her father William, her husband: Stanley, 1 sister: Audrey Vignero, 1 daughter in law: Melissa Jacobson, and 2 infant grandsons.

She is survived by: her mother: Delorse J. Gordon of Mecca, OH,  2 sons: Shawn & Carla Stambolia of Youngstown, Steve & Virginia Stambolia of Warren, 1 step son; Scott Jacobson of Warren, 2 sisters: Janice & Debra Gordon of Canden, SC, Karen & Darin Palmer of Mecca, OH, 2 brothers: Tom & Cheryl Gordon of St. Clairsville, OH, Larry Gordon of Leavittsburg, OH, 12 grandchildren: Tyler, Owen, Kaden, Bethany, Alivia, Nathaniel, Frank, Isiah, Jeremiah, Catalina, Chloe, Cheyenne, and 5 great grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Paradise Lake Campground June 8, 2024 from 1pm to 6pm Banquet Hall 1604 Housel Craft Road Bristolville, Ohio 44402.
