Denise A. Purdy age 66 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday June 8, 2025 at her residence.  She was born on May 5, 1959 in Warren, OH the daughter of the late Edward Moore and Edith Mae (Johnston) Moore. Denise had lived in Newton Falls all her life, and graduated from Newton Falls High School in the Class of 1977. She married the love of her life, Gary Alan Purdy on July 24, 1984 and they have enjoyed almost 41 years of marriage together.  Denise was a wonderful housewife and raised 2 beautiful children.  Denise worked for a few years at Newton Falls Exempted Village Schools as a bus driver, custodian, and cafeteria worker.  She enjoyed cruises to the Caribbean, keeping a clean and tidy house, and was an avid Northwestern NCAA College Football fan. She is preceded in death by her parents: Edward & Edith Moore.

Denise is survived by: her husband: Gary A. Purdy of Newton Falls, 2 sons: Matthew & Leann Purdy of Lake Milton, Gregory & Angelica Purdy of Warren, 1 sister: Vicky Jones of Southington, 1 brother: Craig Moore of Newton Falls, 1 step-brother: Brian & Lisa Geddes of Warren, 4 grandchildren: Tyler, Sophia, Kaiden, and Persephone.

Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life Service will be at a later date and time.
