Dennis Dale Dabney II, age 54 of Newton Falls passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 2, 2026. He was born on Nov 12, 1971 in Warren, Ohio the son of Dennis Dale Dabney Sr. and Sheryl Ann (Summerville) Dabney. He was preceded in death by his father in 2021. Dennis joined the US Navy right after his graduation from Southeast High School, serving from 1990 - 1993. While serving in the US Navy he trained and served as a Navy/Marine medic.
Dennis is survived by his mother, Sheryl Dabney, his children: Alexis (Dabney) & Pedro De Lalor, Jacob Dabney, Adelaide Dabney, his brother, Josh Dabney, his 3 grandchildren: Isabella Lalor, Leonardo Lalor, and Rafael Lalor. Also survived by his devoted fiancé; Beth Jarrett and her children Abigail Jarrett, Katelynn Barefield and Mason Dunham. Additionally he leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, niece, nephew, and his best friend, Dave Puz, and many other friends.
He was employed by various nursing homes in the area as an Aid, IVEX Paper Mill Corporation in Chagrin Falls, Baldy's Archery Shop and his most recent job was at Kraftmaid Cabinetry in Middlefield, Ohio.
His family meant the world to him, and he was a devoted father. He shot archery from 10 years of age - made many happy memories while shooting with his father, brother and special friends throughout his years. He was an avid reader mostly suspense and horror books, especially Stephen King books. He also was an amateur photographer and photography.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Sunday Aug. 16, 2026 at 4:00pm. Calling hours will be from 2:00- 4:00pm. To Honor Dennis, full military services will be performed by the Newton Falls Veterans Honor Guard. The family has requested that all donations please be made to the American Heart Association PO Box 840692 Dallas, TX 75284-0692 in his memory.
