IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dennis Eugene
Frederick
August 14, 1954 – October 25, 2025
Dennis Eugene Frederick, 71, of Leavittsburg passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on Aug. 14, 1954 in Warren, Ohio, to JoAnn and the late Paul Frederick, Dennis grew up in Leavittsburg, where he lived his entire life. A proud graduate of LaBrae High School, Dennis later returned to his alma mater to dedicate his career to education. Over the years, he served as a teacher, coach, and guidance counselor, touching countless lives through his kindness, mentorship, and genuine care for his students, players, and their families. His influence reached far beyond the classroom and playing field, leaving a lasting mark on generations of young people. Dennis was married to his forever love and life partner, Teresa Frederick, for 43 wonderful years. Together they built a lifetime of love, laughter, and devotion, raising two sons, Mathew and Jason, who were his pride and joy. Dennis also adored his three grandchildren — Brennix, Colston, and Camila — and cherished every moment spent cheering them on in sports, playing games, or simply being their biggest supporter. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Dennis loved playing, watching, and coaching sports, especially when it involved his sons or grandkids. He was known for bringing people together — whether through family gatherings, cookouts, parties, or just evenings filled with laughter and games. His home was always open, and his heart was always full. Dennis was also a deeply devoted friend. He cherished his lifelong friendships and made sure to stay connected over the years. Whether sharing laughs, stories, or a game, he and his friends continued to make memories and enjoy time together all the way to his final days. Dennis will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family and friends, his selfless nature, and his calm wisdom. He was a father figure to many, a voice of reason, and someone everyone could count on. He showed up — always — for those he cared about.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa; his sons, Mathew and Jason (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Brennix, Colston, and Camila; his mother, JoAnn Frederick; and his brother, Keith Frederick (Billie). He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Frederick, his sister, Carol Frederick, and daughter-in-law Sara Frederick.
Dennis's legacy of love, strength, friendship, and kindness will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing him.
