Dennis "Denny" Reed passed away on June 22, 2024, in his hometown of Newton Falls, Ohio. Born on October 23, 1944, he was the oldest son of the late Thomas and Anne Reed. He leaves behind his brother, Doug Reed, and wife, Connie Reed, of 48 years. As well as their daughter: Lori (Robert) Saxton, and three stepsons: Jerry (Emily) Tennant, Ron Tennant, and Michael, deceased, (Jennifer) Tennant. Additionally, 7 grandchildren: Jewelia, Ashleigh, Carolanne (Blake), Joshua, Brooke, Zander and Jeremiah; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Denny proudly served as Sharpshooter Riflemen in the Military Police and worked at WCI Steel for 36 years where he retired in 2000. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his beloved cats. He was known for his quick wit, authenticity, and storytelling. His culinary skills were legendary, especially his fried bologna sandwiches and home fries which he would often make for his grandkids.

To honor Denny's wishes, there will be no funeral service. I invite you to celebrate his memory privately in your own ways. I know that he will be with us all in spirit. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.
