Dixie R. Glass, age 72, of Leavittsburg passed into eternal life on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital of natural causes. She was born on April 4, 1938 in Arden, WV the daughter of the late Franklin & Ida (Shaffer) Rexroad. Dixie married Donald Glass on March 18, 1985 and they enjoyed 25 blessed years of marriage together. She had lived in Braceville since 1993, working as an Artos Cutter for Packard Electric for 30 years before retiring in 1993. Dixie enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. Memories of Dixie will be carried on by her loving family; her husband Don of Leavittsburg; her son Jeffrey Reel of Warren; her brothers Benny Rexroad of Warren, OH Larry & Janet Rexroad of WV, Mike & Kathy Rexroad also of WV; and 2 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brothers Robert, Franklin Rexroad and a sister Nancy Rowan. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
