Dolores Mae Yeager, 81 of Newton Falls passed away January 28, 2014 at Briarfield Manor in Austintown. Dolores was born on May 23, 1932 in Canfield to Frank and Laura (Cochel) Lanterman. She has lived in Newton Falls since 1959. On January 5, 1953, Dolores married Howard Yeager Sr. They were blessed with 58 years of marriage before his passing on July 4, 2011. Dolores retired from Jackson Milton School District after 20 years as a secretary and treasurer. Dolores attended the First Church of God in Newton Falls. She was a member of the church bowling league and the Bus Ministry. Dolores enjoyed quilting, sewing, needlepoint and gardening, Loving memories of Dolores will be carried on by her daughters, Jeanette Sickle of Newton Falls, Theresa (Roger) Fox of Panama City, FL, Barbara Yeager of Ravenna, her son, Howard (Betty) Yeager Jr. of Newton Falls, sisters, Evelyn Prozy of Diamond, Phyllis (Jim) Harmon of Canfield, brothers, Frank (Nancy) Lanterman of Berlin Center, Jack (Virginia) Lanterman of Salem, Charles Lanterman of Berlin Center, William (Cathy) Lanterman of Diamond, Jim (Rosemary) Lanterman of Canfield, Dale (Linda) Lanterman of Canfield, sister-in-law, Marie Lanterman of Berlin Center, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Howard, sister, Bernice Pike and brother, George Lanterman. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at the First Church of God, 426 W. Broad St., Newton Falls, OH 44444. Dolores will be laid to rest next to her husband, Howard in Lutheran Cemetery.
