Donald C. Allman Jr., age 79 of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 5, 2012 in the emergency room at St. Joseph Health Center. Donald was born on April 1, 1933 in Rootstown, the son of Donald & Marion (Alden) Allman Sr. He has lived in the Newton Falls area his entire life. Donald married the former Jacalyn McElwee in 1984 and they have celebrated 28 years of marriage. Donald was self-employed with Allman Supply, building houses and farming. He enjoyed working with his cattle, horses and farming. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his wife and family. Loving memories of Donald will be carried on by his wife, Jacalyn Allman of Newton Falls, sons, Rodney (Kelly) Allman of Newton Falls, Jeffrey (Bertha) Allman of Punta Gorta, FL, brothers, Thomas (Sue) Allman of Newton Falls, John Allman of Warren, sisters, Alberta Langdon of California, Dorothy Roos of Warren, grandchildren, Ashley Cline, Donald Allman IV, James Sherosky, Jacalyn, Nicholas, Rodney, Shania, Hunter, Christopher and Ashley Allman. He leaves one great-grandaughter, Lanai Gordon. Donald was preceded in death by his son, Donald Allman III, daughter, Tina Allman, sister, Joan Thomas and his brother, Fred Allman. Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
