Donald Robert Held, age 59 of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 4, 2016 at Cleveland Clinic after suffering a heart attack at work. Donald was born on February 28, 1956 in Warren, the son of the late Robert & Ruth (Gordon) Held. He has lived in Newton Falls his entire life. Donald married the former Reva Jean Cottrill on July 26, 1980. Donald and Reva have been blessed with 35 years of wonderful marriage. Donald was employed as a Field Service Technician with IGN Medical Service. He was a member of the First Congregational Church in Newton Falls. Donald enjoyed taking pictures, spending time with his family, computers, yard work and his pond in the yard. Loving memories of Donald will be carried on by his wife, Reva Held of Newton Falls, daughter, Rebecca (Tom) Moorehead of Newton Falls, sons, Michael Held of Niles, Brenton Held of Newton Falls, sisters, Marilyn (Bradley) Rauch of Port Orange, FL, Shirley Prindle of Newton Falls, grandson, Christopher Mohan, granddaughters, Tiffanie Mohan and Brooke Held. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
